Overview | Esomeprazole (Esomeprazole) chemical name: 5-methoxy-2-[(S)-[(4-methoxy-3, 5-dimethyl-2-pyridyl) methyl] sulfinyl]-1H-benzimidazole, Cas No:161796-78-7. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces gastric acid secretion by inhibiting the H /K-ATPase of gastric parietal cells and prevents the formation of gastric acid.
